Edoardo Franco, winner of the twelfth season of MasterChef Italia in 2023, has become known for his rebellious, daring, and unconventional nature, both in life and in the kitchen.
Born in Varese in 1996, Edoardo led a nomadic youth, spending time in Scotland, Sweden, and Germany, where he held a variety of jobs—from waiter to delivery rider—before joining the talent show while unemployed. His exuberant personality, 1970s-style look, and a “human interest story” attitude—as he himself described it—immediately made him a standout figure on the show.
After his victory, Edoardo published the book “Daje! La mia cucina senza confini,” confirming his unconventional approach even in culinary outreach. He currently works as a food influencer on social media and frequently appears as a guest on various television shows.
The judges described him as “out there, but credible,” praising his ability to blend different traditions and flavors. His approach reflects this very philosophy: a cuisine without boundaries, unafraid to experiment and “break the rules”!
