We want to make a real contribution to saving the planet by offsetting all the CO₂ emissions our company produces. We support three wonderful projects around the world, in the hope that many others will follow our example.
We don't have a planet B.
Maísa REDD+
The project is being developed in Brazil in the state of Pará and protects an area of 29,000 hectares, enabling the capture of 67,458 kg of CO₂ each year.
Maisa REDD+ has brought benefits to local communities. Thanks to continuous funding, the project has created several jobs and, through forest protection, improved economic growth in the area.
Guanaré Forest Plantation Project
The project is located in the central-northern region of Uruguay, covering an area of 20,000 hectares, and captures 127,000 tons of CO₂ annually.
The local population is involved in the “School Project”: a program of informative presentations and workshops aimed at teachers, students, and community members to learn about the environment and the care of native fauna and flora.
Boyabat Hydroelectric Power Plant
The project, located on the banks of the Kızılırmak River in Turkey, generates 1,370,000 MWh of renewable energy per year and reduces CO₂ emissions by 580,882 tons.
Boyabat, by replacing old coal-fired power plants, has improved air quality and the health of the surrounding green areas.
