The Chef's Recommendation
Andrea Berton was born in Friuli and later moved to Milan, where he began his career in the kitchen of Master Chef Gualtiero Marchesi. He trained in prestigious kitchens such as Mossimàn in London, Enoteca Pinchiorri in Florence, and Alain de Casses’ Louis XV in Monte Carlo.
In 1997, he earned his first Michelin star at Taverna di Colloredo in Monte Albano.
From 2005 to 2013, he helmed the Trussardi alla Scala restaurant, earning two Michelin stars (2008, 2009).
He subsequently opened Pisacco and DRY Milano, before launching his Ristorante Berton in 2013, which earned a Michelin star less than a year after opening.
He also opened the restaurant at the Sereno Resort on Lake Como, which is also Michelin-starred.
